Welcome to Midway College Student Moodle Support

 

The tutorials on  Midway College Student Moodle Support  were created by the Informational Technology department to help students use Moodle.  Other resources on this page will assist you with Library and Research and Student Online Readiness.  If you have an idea for a tutorial, resource, or have feedback please email ebloomfield@midway.edu

The IT Help link will direct you to a page where you can access technical support for the following:

If you need technical assistance outside of normal business hours for your online courses then you can contact Online Course Support through Aelearn by clicking this link:   

MIDWAY ONLINE COURSE SUPPORT

The technical services Aelearn offers:

  • Email Support - Available 7 days a week - 24 hours a day.  You can email them a description of your technical issue and you will receive a response regarding a timeframe for resolution
  • Chat Support - You can chat with an online site consultant from 12:00PM to 12:00AM EST Monday through Friday
  • Phone Support - The call center hours are from 12:00PM to 12:00AM EST Monday through Friday

Please note  --  Neither Aelearn or IT has the authority to reset the exams or quizzes if interruption occurs.  This is the responsibility of the instructor who is currently teaching the course.  You will contact your instructor if this happens.

 

Technical Requirements for Moodle

 

Accessing Moodle Courses:

There are three ways to access your online courses:

  1.  http://www.midway.edu 
  2. http://moodle.midway.edu 
  3. http://www.midway.edu/ithelp 

 

You will be directed to the Midway College Single Sign-on window. Type your username and password (same username/password for portal.midway.edu).  Please note:  You will be able to view your online course(s) on the Friday prior to the course start date.  Happy Learning!
